H. G. Krosschell entered the United States Army in March, 1968 and received basic and advanced training in Washington. In August, 1968 he was assigned to the 25th Infantry in Vietnam and was wounded in combat in March of 1969. H. G. spent the next year in the hospital recovering from his wounds and his service was terminated with an Honorable Discharge and 100% service connected disability in March, 1970. H. G. Krosschell has been a member of the Disabled American Veterans since 1970. He is a full-time volunteer at the DAV, Chapter 3, in addition to spending a great deal of time volunteering at the Hot Springs VA. H. G. has been commander of DAV Chapter 3 for two years and has been past State DAV Commander three different times in addition to a two year alternate to the 14th District of the National DAV Executive Commission. He is currently the Treasurer of DAV Chapter 3. H. G. is a very helpful and informative individual to all veterans and certainly deserving of this recognition.
