The Rapid City Swim Center offers a wide variety of aquatic fun for the whole family! Swim laps in the 8-lane lap pool and then relax in the large warm-water spa pool. Older kids will enjoy the diving boards and water basketball area while toddlers splash in the zero-depth leisure pool and ride "froggie" the floating frog. The leisure pool also has a play structure with two slides, a current channel, and a vortex pool. For those looking for a no-impact workout, walk against the current channel and vortex pool!

There is also a 40' x 50' multi purpose room with a wooden floor located on second floor of the Swim Center. This room is great for dancing, meetings, luncheons and many other uses. Call 394-5223 to schedule an activity in the Multi-Purpose Room.

There are two racquetball courts located on the main floor of the Swim Center. You can call 394-4168 to schedule court times. The Recreation Department is in the process of setting up league play and challenge tournaments.

The Swim Center is also a great place to schedule a birthday or holiday party. Parties can be scheduled in the Party Room during "open swim" times. Our friendly staff will set up the area and provide party favors, pop, ice cream, and all the necessary paper products. Clean-up services are also provided. You only need to provide the kids and a cake, if you want one. No mess, no fuss; just a great time. The kids are also welcome to stay and swim the remainder of that day's open swim period.
