When will the new program start? March 3, 2003
How do I get my garbage container? The City will deliver your container to you.
How do I get my recycling container? The City will deliver your recycling container to you.
What size will my container be? The City will recommend a container for you.
What if I disagree with City recommendation? Your request will be honored.
Where will the containers be delivered? To every residence front.
If alley pickup, how will my container be moved? Resident will take to alley.
If I need special assistance, where do I call? Call 355-3496.
How much will my garbage container cost? Your container is provided free by the City.
Where will my garbage be collected? Same location as presently.
What if my container disappears? Call 355-3496.
When will my garbage be collected? Same as is presently.

When will the recyclables be collected?

 

On same day as your garbage pickup - odd numbered houses the first and third weeks and even numbered houses the second and fourth weeks.
What recyclables will be accepted? Same as presently - glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and jugs, aluminum food and beverage cans, steel food and beverage cans.
What do I do with paper and cardboard? Take to drop-off sites or put in garbage (In the new co-composting plant, the paper products are perhaps worth more as compost than to remain as paper products.)
